They are the object of desire in every home every Christmas Season. It is impossible to pass by them when they are at the table and not take one and enjoy its unmistakable flavor.
Our polvorones also come in a new variety: we coat our traditional recipe with the finest chocolate from the Ecuadorian Amazon, giving them a crisp texture at first that no one can resist.
THE INGREDIENTS
THE SOUL
At Polvorones Solokoetxe, ingredients make all the difference. Our polvorones are made with unique, pure ingredients, which is what gives them their unmistakable flavor and texture.
Our Polvorones contain NO food colorings and NO artificial flavors.
We use natural rosemary extract as an antioxidant.
*The cocoa-coated Polvorones contain a minimum of 60% cocoa.
FLOUR
From a national variety with specific characteristics, for the exclusive use of our polvorones.
SUGAR
We use sugar derived from sugar beets grown by our farmers in La Rioja, Navarra, and the Basque Country. These are family farms passed down from generation to generation.
IBERIAN LARD
We make them with lard derived solely and exclusively from the fusion of selected Iberian pork fats.
CEYLON CINNAMON
Considered the best cinnamon in the world for its exotic fragrance and its smooth and elegant flavor.
BOURBON VANILLA
This sublime vanilla is harvested from vines growing on the volcanic slopes of Pico de la Fournaise, on the island of La Reunion.
COCOA
Our coating is made from single-origin cocoa, harvested and carefully selected in Ecuador. The cocoa bean from the Ecuadorian Amazon allows us to balance an intense and bitter flavor with sweet and smooth notes, achieving perfect harmony in both taste and texture.
